Her field of specialization is public international law in general and in particular: &nbsp;international humanitarian law of armed conflicts, human rights law, migration law and peaceful resolution of international disputes. She is the Director of Master Studies on Humanitarian Action &#8211; the so-called NOHA studies (Network on Humanitarian Action NOHA is the consortium of European universities conducting joint programs in humanitarian action). She is also the Director of Postgraduate Studies on Humanitarian Assistance at the University of Warsaw. &nbsp; In 2008 \u2013 2012 Dr. E. Mikos-Skuza&nbsp;was a vice-dean at the Faculty of Law and Administration. For more than 30 years she has been&nbsp;volunteering&nbsp;with&nbsp;the Polish Red Cross, including the function of a Vice-President of the Polish Red Cross in 2004 \u2013 2012.&nbsp; Since 2002&nbsp;she has been a member (at present \u2013 the first vice-president) of the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission established under Protocol Additional I of 1977 to the Geneva Conventions of 1949 that deals with allegations of war crimes. She is also a full member of the San Remo International Institute of Humanitarian Law.
